David Kay: Here We Go Again
In the Washington Post, former top weapons inspector in Iraq David Kay writes that the current posture towards Iran looks strikingly similar to the path we travelled to Iraq. Thanks for pointing out this story, Joe. I give Kay a lot of credit for speaking out and for keeping his message clear and fairly balanced, save the part where he admonishes the Government to avoid "rushing" and "cooking" a National Intelligence Estimate as to Iran's nuclear activities. I agree that is what appears to have happened in Iraq -- I am merely noting that is the only place where he seems to allow his frustration with this administration to show.
